Blackbird letterpress

Blackbird Letterpress specializes in quirky animal shaped die cut cards, handmade notebooks, art prints, calendars, & paper novelties. Gifts items range from best selling inspiring women cards & notebooks to spinner info volvelles & custom city notebooks + more. Blackbird was started by Kathryn Hunter in 2003 in South Louisiana, after a purchase of an 1100 pound platen letterpress. The printshop moved in the Fall of 2016 to the first floor of a renovated 1950s office building next door to a 19th century cemetery, which they share with two frisky guard dogs. It has expanded in space and equipment. They use the original C&P 8×12, along with a Vandercook SP15, C&P 10×15, and 2 Heidelberg Windmill presses. Kathryn continues to design most of the products, while being super lucky to work with a few other designers that help keep the work fresh. You can find all their goods and other images at blackbirdletterpress.com and follow along at @blackbirdletterpress .

HISTORY

The Little Craft Show was founded in 2011 as a fun, “little” event for us to sell our handmade products with our closest friends. We had a small venue, a handful of crafty friends, and a few extra spaces to fill. The response was amazing. TLCS is now Arkansas’ most talked about indie craft show that's celebrated for our refreshing atmosphere, enthusiastic vendors, and high quality handmade goods. We were even ranked as one of the top EIGHT craft shows in the nation by Country Living Magazine.
