Nicki Hunter is a Black Indigenous mixed media artist from Hot Springs, AR. She works with reclaimed and recycled material to make sculptures inspired by nature, time and magic and the moon…
Her love of flower art began at a young age, due to her florist mother. With a desire to get crafty and inspired by lunar cycles, a tradition of her indigenous ancestry paired with a collection of dried flower decor and crystals, she began making mooncatchers in 2018. Because of the process of selecting crystals and seasonal plants, inspiration for each piece is completely unique.
The dreamcatchers have become a popular commission for the artist who enjoys creating individual works that people can display in their homes, offices, cars, and even weddings. Each commissioned piece is made with an intentional theme that is tailored to the needs of the person.
