hive to Hand

Jess Friedel, owner and maker of Hive To Hand is a Northwest Arkansas native. Jess has a long-term relationship with the arts. At her kindergarten graduation, she proudly announced she planned on being a “starving artist” one day. Dancing through childhood, singing and doodling along the way, Jess continues to delve into finding what feels good artistically. Hive to Hand began in May 2019 as a fun DIY gift for the annual family reunion. From there, it blossomed into a never-ending creative outlet. The name “The Hive” stems from the purchase of the Friedel’s first home. Upon purchase, they shared their dreams of one day owning bees, having an ample garden, and creating a space where people always feel welcome and leave smiling. Hive to Hand made perfect sense when deciding to create a business of goods to go directly into the community Jess so loves and is involved in. Whether it be honey, garden goodies, or handmade items, Jess wanted “The Hive” to be a place of growing, creativity, and happiness. You could say it is Jess’s continual drive to try something new, or the long time dream of being an artist coming to fruition. You will often hear Jess say the words “homegrown happiness” or “handmade happiness”. Hive to Hand hopes our little handmade goodies bring you happiness. We so appreciate your support of our small business and big dreams. We promise we will continue to create new, quality handmade items for you, and we look forward to the growth that is to come. Remember: like our pieces, you are each beautiful and uniquely made. SPRINGDALE,AR Website Instagram Facebook

Cloud Cait

My name is Caitlin and I am a digital artist from Northwest Arkansas. I am the owner of the illustration business Cloud Cait. I have a passion for graphic arts and my business focuses on fun and lively prints, stickers and badges. My art is inspired by Manga, Pop Art, and Disney animators. I love to bring my art to life through vibrant colors and strong outlines. By Christmas my product will have expanded to temporary tattoos, scrunchies and pins. The business I have created is a reflection of all the hard work I have put into turning my art into a business. April Hiler Designs

I've always been a lover of nature and find a sense of peace and calm in its presence. By creating jewelry from bits of nature, I am able to capture a piece of that tranquility. I showcase nature's beauty by layering preserved leaves, pressed flowers, real birch bark and other natural materials in clear jeweler's grade resin. Because my jewelry is made with natural materials, no two pieces are just alike! SHERMAN,TX Website Instagram Facebook

HISTORY

The Little Craft Show was founded in 2011 as a fun, “little” event for us to sell our handmade products with our closest friends. We had a small venue, a handful of crafty friends, and a few extra spaces to fill. The response was amazing. TLCS is now Arkansas’ most talked about indie craft show that's celebrated for our refreshing atmosphere, enthusiastic vendors, and high quality handmade goods. We were even ranked as one of the top EIGHT craft shows in the nation by Country Living Magazine.
