FARTSY ARTS/AROMAHOLIC

Fartsy Arts: My artwork explores vintage images, illustrations & photography in combination with strong design elements that are hand painted or laser cut, including retro shapes, words, or upcycled papers & patterns. My main material is wood but I have been exploring incorporating acrylics for pops of color in some pieces. I work with a varied color palette that stems from a lot of mid century designs & my personal tastes. To finish my work, I design custom frames to fit the piece or upcycle found frames. I use a laser cutter for the frames & the details that make each piece unique. It's important to me to find a way to use common technology in a new way in order to stand out. My jewelry is made the same way. I use wood that is hand painted or colorful acrylic for pieces to compliment my artwork & style but add a little flair to those who wear it. Some are basic shapes that I love, like vintage glasses or cowboy boots, & others are mixed media pieces like my art. Aromaholic offers handmade lip balms and soaps with flavors and scents inspired by classic cocktails, modern mixed drinks, wine varietals, and craft beers, as well as an assortment of pop culture-themed products. 'Fun' and 'natural' don't have to be mutually exclusive, and that is reflected in Aromaholic's diverse assortment of products. Wholesome ingredients like essential oils, cocoa butter, avocado oil, locally-sourced beeswax, and organic flavor oils go into each item to provide the finest in bodycare. Aromaholic lip balms are handmade from start to finish; everything is formulated, melted, flavored, poured, and labeled by me. We offer two different types of soap, depending on the variety: some are made using the cold-process method with oils and lye, and others with more delicate scents are produced using an organic soap base. I AM HERE Cards

Maps have been my thing for a long time. I loved them as a kid, got two degrees in cartography, and worked in the field for many years. But I always felt like something got lost as the processes became more and more computerized: efficient, yes; artistic, no! So I started doing what I had always loved – drawing pen and ink maps. The computer can help with the process, but the basic ink-on-paper technique is the same as it's always been – and I like it, as I always have. I work to create maps that are accurate, informative, interesting, attractive, and fun. Yes, you can actually use them to see what highways run through your town, but more likely you can discover some hidden gem (a diamond perhaps?) tucked away in the corner of a state you hadn't thought about lately. And I make no apologies about reproducing them at a cost that anyone can afford. This includes letterpress – a gloriously tactile print at a reasonable cost – and digital pigment prints whose bright colors make for a lovely print to hang on your wall. Little Mountain Bindery

Little Mountain Bindery was started in Fayetteville in 2005 as a full-service, traditional hand bookbindery. We repair and restore books of all kinds as well as make custom books, portfolios and archival boxes. Over the past five years we have developed a refillable leather journal/planner that we call a Fillion (rhymes with million). The Fillion is made from beautiful high-quality leather that is sourced from some of the oldest tanneries in the United States. It is also a workhorse, allowing you to carry multiple notebooks for different subjects or purposes, as well as a planner and still have lots of room for doodling and dreaming. We always bring a huge selection to The Little Craft Show with special pricing and tons of accessories including magnetic pockets, planners for 2019, hand-sewn notebooks and other goods. And as always, we will personalize your Fillion at the show which means you can make that gift even more special for your family and friends. Fayettevillle,ar Website Instagram Facebook Twitter

Sweet Freedom cheese

Cheese is our passion. In 2012 our founder, Jessica Keahey, fell head over heels in love with the art of making cheese and envisioned bringing the artisanal cheese movement to Arkansas. Sweet Freedom is the only independent, cut-to-order cheese shop and education center in the state. Our shop – open this September – will feature a carefully curated, rotating selection of artisanal cheeses and cured meats sourced both domestically and internationally, as well as wine, fresh bread, an exciting variety of delicious accompaniments, cheese knives, and cheesemaking ingredients for home cheesemakers. We also offer cheese & charcuterie platters, cheese celebration cakes, corporate and seasonal gifts boxes, cheese classes, and a Monthly Cheese club. bentonville,ar Website Instagram Facebook Twitter

HISTORY

The Little Craft Show was founded in 2011 as a fun, “little” event for us to sell our handmade products with our closest friends. We had a small venue, a handful of crafty friends, and a few extra spaces to fill. The response was amazing. TLCS is now Arkansas’ most talked about indie craft show that's celebrated for our refreshing atmosphere, enthusiastic vendors, and high quality handmade goods. We were even ranked as one of the top EIGHT craft shows in the nation by Country Living Magazine.
