Read MoreSunflower & Mum’s Designs is a mother-daughter duo (Amory and Susan Scott). We have developed a passion for knitting over the past year. We have quickly become shopaholics for yarn and needles. 🧶 Every piece we make is completely unique with a wide array of colors, textures and patterns. We loved making things that our friends and family could wear, so we thought why not make things for our dogs, too? Now, we have started making bandanas for our furry friends, so they have wardrobe accessories as well. 🐾 We love sharing our ideas and designs with each other and cannot wait to share our passion with you! Read MoreCross Plains Pottery is named in honor of the long empty town where my husband and I settled in the Arkansas River Valley. It seemed fitting that an art form so old and long lasting could share a name with any time period it chose. I am the happy potter of Cross Plains Pottery, my name is Alexis Barber. For me, clay holds the most creative potential of any material I have ever encountered. I love the freedom and accomplishment that I feel when throwing; I have become addicted to that feeling. I am enthralled by what my hands can create, and how that creation shadows my own. Pottery has ignited a spark in me, and I hope to spread the flame. russellville, arkansas Website Instagram Facebook

Read MoreSlamSplash dolls are individually handcrafted by wet felting wool to create totally unique textures, shapes and styles of art dolls. Inspiration for the name of my shop is inspired by the “fulling” phase of the process, when each wet piece of felt must be repeatedly slammed in the sink in order to agitate the wool fibers so they lock together and achieve the tight weave of the finished body. The dolls are shaped into their final forms while still wet, and once dry will hold that shape. I finish each doll by hand sewing together the pieces and free hand embroidering or needle felting the fine details. I love the challenge of using the ancient technique of wet felting to create whimsical and modern art dolls. SlamSplash art dolls are designed to bring a little beauty into your home and a smile to your face. Made slowly and with love! Little Rock,Arkansas Website Instagram Facebook
Read MoreI bought my first sewing machine in March of this year and instantly fell in love with sewing. After some major life changes I was lucky to find this new hobby which turned out to be a good outlet for my creativity and very therapeutic at the same time. Origami, the ancient Japanese art of folding paper, has been my favorite art form since childhood. I decided to marry my interest in origami and sewing and was instantly smitten with the complex boxes and bags created using just a simple square or rectangular piece of fabric. Most of what I make are traditional patterns with additional little touches of my own – special buttons to create pockets, adding some hardware like grommets, small customizations, or experimenting with different kinds of straps. My short term goal is to develop my own original origami-inspired designs and share my love of fabric and origami with others in Arkansas. Little Rock,Arkansas Website Instagram Facebook

Read MoreI am a freehand henna artist based in Hot Springs, AR that has fallen in love with adorning henna style artwork onto any canvas I can find. This has led to me painting mandalas on journals, ornaments, shirts, agate slices, sea shells, boxes, and several other treasures along with full canvas paintings and murals. I'm also a Reiki practitioner and feel very passionate about working with crystals that help others which has led me to wire-wrapping necklaces, rings, and hand stringing bracelets. I enjoy sharing my art with the world. I'm grateful to show and talk about my crafts in Hot Springs as well as when I get to take it on the road and meet new people at pop-ups and events!
