Work with us!
The Little Craft Show produces a series of maker events that spotlight the wonderful artists and small businesses in the Ozarks, and create a welcoming environment for everyone to support local and shop small.
We’re a small team with one, full time director, rotating day-of volunteers, and contracted artists, and are looking for a part-time remote creative to join our team.
What we're looking for:
> 20 hrs/month availability, June - December 2023.
> Must be available first Fridays from 2-11pm, and all day December 2nd, 2023, to be onsite at events in Downtown Fayetteville.
> Event day responsibilities: Set up, space marking, vendor check in and assistance.
> Off-day responsibilities (remote): Administrative marketing tasks such as social media scheduling, email newsletters, updating contact lists, vendor communication, etc. Estimated 2-3 hrs/week.
Preferences:
> Familiarity with the local maker community and a value for ethical consumption.
> We contract out graphic design, but familiarity with Canva and comfort with designing and writing captions, stories, posts, etc. a plus
> Experience with Google Drive
> Your own laptop, cell phone, and transportion.
> Ability to lift at least 50lbs, and stay on your feet for extended periods of time (event days can be grueling).
> A “can-do” attitude and the ability to creatively pivot when needed; able to meet challenges or last-minute hiccups with grace and flexibility.
> Good communication and problem-solving skills
> Experience in event production a plus
Compensation:
$20/hr ($400/month) + flexible schedule (on non-event days), and ability to work remotely.
We’re an organization that benefits from diverse points of view, life experiences, and backgrounds. We welcome applicants of all gender identities, races, ethnicities, religions, abilities, and orientations to apply. Come as you are!
