I make two primary lines of work. The first is all hand-thrown ceramics; they are then covered with a black liquid clay and carved through to show the white underneath. The carvings primarily reflect my 'odd' sense of humor; with octopus, robots, poisonous flowers, skulls, and whatever else keeps me entertained. The second line of work is made by slip casting into doll molds, then assembling the pieces. This line of work has far more variation and color, but is often finished with real metal and vintage decals. Both lines of work have a strict emphasis on functionality, while still retaining a sense of humor.
