Arkansas native currently residing in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains of Northeastern Oklahoma where I teach middle school science full time. In the past few years I have discovered a merging of my passions through metalsmithing. A nature lover at heart, I’ve often got my nose buried in a gravel bar along a creek searching for interesting fossil prints, scanning the foliage along an Ozark Region trail, or lighting up the walls of a cave looking for interesting fossil layers. I utilize these Ozark found fossils, wildflowers, and a variety of interesting flora to create my unique one-of-a-kind jewelry. My appreciation for the details of nature becomes focal pieces for pendants, earrings, bracelets, and rings. Stones and crystals are often incorporated to add a balance of both color and dimension. Having began with silver as my medium of choice, I also work with bronze and copper providing a range of colors and prices for everyone.
