2 Locas Brand

Jennifer and Blanca initially met in 2007 during a Gamma Eta info session at the University of Arkansas. Blanca having moved from New Jersey on August of 2007 thought a sorority would be a great way to meet new people. Already dealing with the culture shock of living in the south, she was pleased to seeing a mix of ethnicities, races, and age in the info session. Jennifer was leading the presentation with poise and confidence in front of 8-10 young women seeking a group to connect with. Throughout the last 12 years of their friendship they have been there through weddings , birthday , growing family's and now a business venture. The idea for starting a business was our own search of t- shirts that we can identify with. We wanted t-shirts that embraced and empowered out Latina side. We are both proud of our heritage and want to pass that down to our own children. We look forward to providing tee shirts to our bilingual, Spanish, and English speaking community that reference our heritage and culture. Springdale,AR Website Instagram Facebook

Wild Horses Mercantile

When 2020 rolled around my world (like many) turned upside down. I couldn't stay in my New York City apartment and packed up to go home to Arkansas after 11+ years in the city. I was doing freelance design work from home and some days even worked from my bed. My wardrobe had been built for over a decade of running around New York City and was suddenly very useless. I ended up ordering a few things to be more comfortable but was underwhelmed by getting up and getting dressed in the morning. I had been dreaming of Wild Horses Mercantile for years. I have a background in fashion design and pattern design and had big dreams of local made products, ranging from apparel to handmade quilts, local artisanal foods, hand forged artworks, etc. Big dreams! But playing by 2020 rules I said F*@k it! I'm doing something now. I was able to find made to order manufacturers that will use my graphic designs and illustrations to make clothes I'm excited to get up and put on now! With these comfortable pieces I can work from the kitchen counter in the morning, move to the sofa in the afternoon, do a quick yoga session when I'm sick of staring at my computer, then go for a long walk in the afternoon. I feel good when I look good and I want to share that feeling with everyone I can. Greenbrier,AR Website Instagram Facebook

HISTORY

The Little Craft Show was founded in 2011 as a fun, “little” event for us to sell our handmade products with our closest friends. We had a small venue, a handful of crafty friends, and a few extra spaces to fill. The response was amazing. TLCS is now Arkansas’ most talked about indie craft show that's celebrated for our refreshing atmosphere, enthusiastic vendors, and high quality handmade goods. We were even ranked as one of the top EIGHT craft shows in the nation by Country Living Magazine.
