Hello. I am Amber Perrodin, a mixed media artist living in Springdale, Arkansas. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking from the University of Arkansas in 2010. I have a love and appreciation for the quiet, poetic nature of combining muted colors, papers, discarded prints, and paint on birch panels.
My artwork is currently represented by James May Gallery in Wisconsin. Aside from producing art, my husband Jonathan and I co-founded Perrodin Supply Co. I am also the founder and Creative Director of Northwest Arkansas’ fastest growing indie craft show, The Little Craft Show and previously worked as the Programming Director for the Downtown Springdale Alliance. In early 2018 I co-founded the Creative Social Retreat with four other amazing artists.
The Arkansas Democrat Gazette named me as one of the top ten artists to watch in 2014 and I’ve most recently contributed to the Arkansas Made magazine featuring artisans from across the state.
I have taught mono-printing, wood block carving, and linoleum printmaking classes at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. I currently reside in Springdale, Arkansas with my husband Jonathan and two daughters, Raine and Ezmah.
